Agroforestation is the intermediate activity between land cultivation and forest preservation. Aside from being utilized to save our remaining forests, it is also intended to produce food and other agricultural products. Agroforestation involves striking a balance between supporting local community economy and conserving natural environment. Agroforestation, therefore, is a sustainable and high impact conservation activity. Presently, I am spearheading the agroforestation project of the environmentalist organization Ugnayan Kalikasan.
